In Islam, Asmaa'ul husna is the beautiful and good names of Allah. Asthma means the name and husna means good or beautiful, so asma'ul husna is the good name of the good and beautiful God.
Here are some translation of the prophecy contained in the Qur'an and the Hadith on the name of asmaa'ul husna:
"He is Allah, there is no God but He, He has asmaa'ul husna (good names)." (Thaa-Haa 20: 8)
Say: "Call upon Allah, or call on the Merciful: In whatever name you call, He has al asmaa'ul husna (the best names) and do not harden your voice in your prayers and do not humiliate them and seek the middle path between the second "(Al-Israa '17: 110)
"Allah has Asmaa 'ulHusna, then ask Him by mentioning these good names ..." (Al-A'raaf: 180)
The number of Asmaul Husna is 99 names, as mentioned in the hadith narrated by Tirmidhi, reinforced by the hadith of hadith.
From Abu Hurairah ra he said the Prophet Muhammad said: "Verily, Allah Swt has 99 names, one hundred less one, the one who calculates it (memorize it all) is entered into heaven" (Narrated by Bukhari).
